The Signs As Tenuous Horror Sub-Genres

I wanted to try to do something a bit fun and not too serious, so I looked to the stars for guidance! I promise that this wasn't just a futile exercise where I randomly assigned each zodiac to a genre of horror. I wrote a LONG list of all kinds of sub-genres, more than the twelve signs of the zodiac, and matched them to what I thought was the most accurate star sign based on extensive research of the associated personality traits. Apologies, therefor, if your sub-genre seems tenuous, or your favourite sub-genre wasn't covered. A lot of time went into deciding if zombies and vampires were there own category (they are), and if creature feature and classic monsters were different (they are). I also had a heated debate with my husband over the validity of body horror as a sub-genre. I won.
I have retained precisely zero percent of the knowledge I learned researching this, but nevertheless, here are the results of my strenuous studies! And as a bonus, I've included your sign's tarot card, so there's some beautiful Ryder-Waite imagery to accompany the text.
Aries
(March 20th to April 19th)
Symbol: Ram
Element: Fire
Ruler: Mars
Horror Genre: Demons and Religious Horror
As an Aries, you're passionate and competent. Highly motivated. Although, your aggression constitutes an inability to control your temper. Who is more motivated and determined than a possessive demon?

A Taurus strives for consistency and honesty. They hate authority and love going against the grain. Enter the Found Footage genre. Honest in it's vulnerability, determined to keep going in the face of critics.

Horror Genre: Horror Comedy
You are outgoing and impulsive. This goes hand in hand with your adaptability. You can be a little bit impulsive though, and very indecisive. Same as the comedy horror genre! It can't decide what it wants to be, but it adapts to the terror so well.

Horror Genre: Ghosts and Paranormal
Cancers are highly intuitive. They can sense energies of those around them and are compassionate to the energy. They are very often psychic, and so they are exactly who you would want around if your spirits needed a talking to.

Horror Genre: Body Horror
You're brave and dominating. Although, you can also be possessive. And definitely impatient. Body Horror is very dominating on the screen, it dares you to look away. It possesses your attention. And you'd have to be brave to get through one of these films.

Virgos are hardworking and reliable, though definitely stubborn. Their sign is shown as a virginal maiden, the classic symbol of The Final Girl often found in slashers. She's entirely stubborn, just refusing to die!
